Overview

Acacias is often cited as one of the best neighborhoods for middle-class families in Madrid. It features wide, tree-lined streets, plenty of local commerce, and direct access to the river park. It feels more 'ordered' and spacious than Centro, but the trade-off is that it can feel a bit quiet for those used to the non-stop energy of La Latina or Lavapiés.
