Overview
Almagro is the most exclusive pocket of Chamberí, often called the 'Golden Triangle.' Its streets are lined with grand 19th-century palaces, embassies, and luxury galleries. It offers a level of prestige and quiet similar to Salamanca but with a more discreet, residential atmosphere. The tradeoff is that it can feel a bit formal and lacks the 'barrio' bustle found in nearby Trafalgar.
