Overview

Jerónimos is a small, prestigious triangle bordering the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. It is almost purely residential, characterized by 19th-century architecture and wide, silent streets. Unlike the rest of Retiro, it is exceptionally central, within walking distance to Sol, yet it feels like a private gated community due to its lack of through-traffic and commercial noise. The trade-off is practical: there are almost no supermarkets or local services within the barrio itself; you live here for the beauty and status, not the convenience.
