Overview

Recoletos is arguably the most prestigious neighborhood in Spain. Bordered by the Retiro Park and the Paseo de la Castellana, it is home to the 'Golden Mile' (Calle Serrano). Life here is defined by high-end boutiques, world-class dining, and impeccably maintained 19th-century buildings. The trade-off is purely financial: it has the highest price per square meter in the city and can feel quite commercial during shopping hours.
